My brothers and mother had a different last name then I, and that made me feel like the black sheep of the family, and whenever I would see girls with thier fathers it just reminded me that I didn’t have mine, and it killed me inside but I was brainwashed to hide my true feeling.

I would write my heart out and I didn’t care if no one would ever get to read them, but the writing stopped when my mind was being blocked by the alcohol I drank, and weed I smoked. It seemed people would believe me when I would lie to them, but when I spoke the truth it was a different story.

I use to feel trapped because no one was around to save me from my own mind that stored so many painful things that when I jumped back on the wagon they began to attack again creating a monster.

I don’t have all the answers to my questions, but I found some that could help me become who I want to be for my son. Life is like a pair of steps you have to take it one step at a time so you don’t stumble back down, but it doesn’t mean I have to stay on the same step until the day I die!
